"Acem Reis" Mosque
This mosque was built during the reign of Mehmed the Conqueror by a merchant called Bedreddin Mahmud bin Muhammed el-Acemi el-ma’ruf bi-Acem Reis. Several historical sources state in a note saying “Acem Reis Masjid, known as ‘Arap Mosque’”, thus it is understood that this mosque was also called “Arap” Mosque.
This structure was renovated in 1962.
