It was restored in Gümüştepe District (Misi Village) of Nilüfer District with the contributions and support of Nilüfer Municipality. The museum, which was put into service after being allocated to Bursa UNESCO Association, is Turkey's second Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum in terms of content and scope.
A cultural practice and promotion is carried out in every room of the museum. The museum has a performing arts workshop, handicrafts workshop, conversation room, bridal room, circumcision room, fairy tale and game rooms. In the garden of the museum, there are also sections and gardens where folk calendar, folk cuisine, folk medicine and children's games and toys, traditional celebrations are held. The handicrafts area, where Bursa's traditional professions and products are introduced, is one of the important points of the museum. The Karagöz shadow play show room, which is one of the symbols of Bursa and mentioned by Evliya Çelebi in his "Seyahatname" as "Karagöz shadow play started there when the Turks took the city of Bursa", is one of the functional rooms of the Bursa intangible cultural heritage museum.
