Bursa Zoo, which was opened in 1998 together with the Botanical Park, was built in accordance with the natural habitats of the animals. 1300 animals of 130 species live in the Bursa Zoo located next to the Botanical Park. In Bursa Zoo, which is one of the important zoos in Europe, there are bear, wolf, lion, leopard, birds of prey, lama, wild donkey, camel, monkey sections as well as ostriches and zebras in the African Savannah Section. In the section where waterfowls live, there is a giant pond. The visitors can get the chance to see the animals much closer in Bursa Zoo.
