Bursa Zoology Museum

The animal kingdom is introduced to visitors in the Zoology Museum, which was established within the Department of Biology of Uludağ University (UU) Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and contains examples of some extinct species preserved under suitable conditions.

The museum, which is the product of 28 years of work, contains 19 scorpions, 25 frogs, 28 fish, 83 birds, 33 mammals and 81 reptiles, as well as many insect species. The main function of the museum, which is open to the public on certain days and hours, is research and education.

The Zoology Collection can be visited every weekday between 10:00 - 16:00. University staff and students can visit the collection on Wednesdays between 13:00 and 15:30. The fee is 60 TL (including VAT) per person and payment is deposited into the IBAN account. Cash payment is not accepted.
