It is known that the bazaar was called by this name because it was a place where bells attached to animals were produced in the first periods of its establishment. Also, the bazaar was also known as rope bazaar because of the presence of shops belonging to rope manufacturers. Today, it is a bazaar with shops where mostly wooden daily use items are sold.
