"Ertuğrul Bey" Mosque
This mosque was made during the reign of Yıldırım Bayezid (1389-1402) for his son, Ertugrul Bey. Ertugrul Bey died in 1398, while being the governor of Aydın district. His funeral was brought to Bursa, and buried in this mosque’s graveyard.
This structure was renovated in 1550, 1860, 1892, and in 1954. Furthermore, the marble sarcophagus of the grave of Ertugrul Bey being situated in the mosque’s graveyard, and the tombstones were renewed.
