It was built in the 15th century by Mahmut Pasha, one of the viziers of Fatih Sultan Mehmed, to bring income to his mosque and imaret in Istanbul.
It is one of the biggest inns of Bursa.
it was named as "Fidan Khan" due to the saling of saplings in a period and has come under this name until today.
It has two courtyards. The shops are placed on two floors around the courtyard designed in a near-square plan.
There are forty-eight shops on the ground floor and fifty shops on the upper floor. There is a pool in the middle of the khan and a prayer room.
