İznik Davud-i Kayseri Tomb
It is located in Davudi Kayseri Street, north of Iznik Museum. Davud-i Kayseri, thought to be born in the 1260s, started his education life in Kayseri and later went to Egypt. He gave lectures and works in religious sciences such as hadith and fiqh as well as mental sciences such as philosophy and logic. In terms of his thought system and views, he pioneered the thinkers of his time and after that period. It was known that the tomb of Davud-i Kayseri was next to a 1251-year-old plane tree. Landscaping work was completed and the tomb was opened to visitors.
