İznik Elmalı (Nailless Wooden) Mosque
The nailless mosque built in 1884 in the Elmalı village of Iznik district of Bursa. It is a historical nailless mosque built by the Black Sea wood masters by Georgians who migrated from the Acariye region of Batumi and settled in the village of Elmalı. Right next to the today's historical mosque, there was an older masjid made of trees. However, it turned to ashes in the fire that broke out, and the wood masters brought from the Black Sea coast in 1884 built today's nailless mosque.
