Iznik Suleyman Pasha Madrasa Art Workshops
Süleyman Pasha Madrasa, which was built by Süleyman Pasha, son of Orhan Gazi, in 14. century, was restored and rearranged in order to keep the traditional ceramic tile art alive and bring it to the next generations. There are nine art workshops producing ceramics in the madrasah, which serves as the “Çiniciler Çarşısı” (Ceramics Artists' Bazaar), where traditional Iznik tiles are produced and sold, also the tile art is taught.
