MUSEUM TAKEOVER DAY
Museum Takeover Day is an organisation of UK Kids in Museums and on Museum Takeover Day, children will take the place of museum professionals and perform their duties.
Are you ready to take over Bursa Museum on Saturday 23 November between 09.00/17.30?
In order to apply; you will need to write a short letter describing your motivation to take over the museum, expressing your feelings and thoughts of today in your own words.
- Quota is 10 people, age range is 9-12.
- You can send your letters to bursamuzeleri@gmail.com or drop them off at Bursa City Museum and Bursa Textile Industry Museum.
Important dates
- Thursday 14 November 2024: Deadline for sending letters
- Friday 15 November 2024: Announcement of the list of children who took part
- Saturday 16 November 2024: Orientation at the museums with the children in charge
- Saturday 23 November 2024: This is the day! Museums are being taken over by children.
