Yenişehir Şemaki House Museum
Located in the center of Yenişehir district, 55km from Bursa, the museum takes its name from the Şemaki family, who migrated from the town of Şemaki in Iran in the 18th century and settled in Yenişehir. The hand-drawn works in the “başoda” (main room) and two other rooms on the upper floor of the two-storey house belong to the 19th century. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, cellar and two rooms. The museum house, which is among the important cultural assets of Yenişehir, reflects the features of the period in a beautiful way.
